The police called on the people to smile and be well-disposed. Together with students of a number of lyceums of Chisinau, employees of the General Police Inspectorate on February 8 staged an event in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral, forming a line in the shape of a smile, and then walked through the city with the same call, IPN reports.

Natalia Bucur-Bandas, head of the press service of the General Police Inspectorate, said the event was held in connection with the International Day of Happiness. “The flashmobbing was staged with the aim of urging the people to be more receptive to the problems of mates, to come in contact with the police, which can and is ready to offer them assistance, and to seek help from us whenever they need and we call on them to do good,” stated Natalia Bucur-Bandas.

The people are also urged to call the 902 service when they see mates facing difficult situations.
