The General Police Inspectorate said that documents regarding the studies of Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici were asked from the Academy of Economic Studies (ASEM) and the Slavonic University. Such a detail was provided following press reports that a criminal case was started in this case, IPN reports.
The Inspectorate said the investigations will continue so as to determine all the circumstances of this case.
The press reported earlier that it’s not known based on what documents Chiril Gaburici was admitted to the ASEM and then to the Slavonic University as he didn’t take the Baccalaureate exams and was expelled from the National College of Microelectronics and Computing Machines. Asked by the journalists about this, Chiril Gaburici avoided giving an accurate answer.
