Police seize drugs worth 300,000 lei

The police identified three packs of a crushed vegetal mass with a specific smell of marijuana in the house of a resident of Buteni village of Hancesti district. The given quantity of drugs on the black market costs 300,000 lei, the head of the General Police Commissariat’s press office Adrian Jovmir has told Info-Prim Neo. There were also found eight-liter glass bottles, a glass used as a unit of measurement and a metal sieve for processing the drugs. In the attic, the police discovered tops of dried plants kept for collecting seeds. The suspect confessed he sold marijuana for 150 lei a glass. If found guilty, the man would serve 7 to 15 years in jail over illegal distribution of narcotic and psychotropic substances.
