The police are massively notified of the calls of sympathizers of a criminal group to the citizens to commit more illegalities in the electoral process so as to compromise the ballot. By 12:45 p.m., the police recorded 34 violations of which the Central Election Commission was notified by an official letter, IPN reports.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, seven cases of ballot photographing were reported in the districts of Chisinau, Comrat, Șoldănești, Telenești, Nisporeni, Cimișlia and Drochia. In Drochia and Comrat, in two cases the ballot paper was damaged.
In three cases, situations of corruption of voters were reported, in Chisinau, Sângerei and Fălești. The case in Chisinau was not confirmed. Out of six other cases of campaigning reported to the police, two were confirmed in Orhei and Briceni and by one case in Ialoveni and Cantemir.
Two cases of placing of unauthorized electoral posters were registered in Soroca, and one similar case was reported in Râșcani. Also, in Fălești and Dubăsari, the police registered one case of unauthorized transportation of voters to polling stations. A case of the presence of several people in the voting booth was reported in Dubăsari.
Also, there were recorded ten other incidents, including presence of an inebriated person inside the polling station, conflicts, hooliganism, the GPI said.
