The General Police Inspectorate said they documented 15 cases of violations between 7am and 11am, including intentions to block access to polling stations in Floreşti, Dubăsari, Rezina, and Bender. A person came into conflict with a group of citizens and used teargas in Varnița. In two cases, the persons photographed the ballot, in Călăraşi and Chisinau, IPN reports.

General Police Inspectorate deputy head Marin Maxian in a press briefing said the police were also notified of a suspect case of voter corruption in Râşcani, a case of campaigning in Sângerei and five cases of organized transportation of voters to polling stations. The necessary measures were taken, with the license plates of the units of transport being seized.

Marin Maxian noted the situation in Varniţa is tense. A group of citizens, with the involvement of MPs, blocked roads, including by parking vehicles. The police took steps to stop those actions.

The functionary called on the citizens to monitor the situation, to behave calmly and not to take illegal actions.
