The police will patrol the areas around cemeteries all over the country so as to see if the restrictions imposed by the Commission for Exceptional Situations in connection with the transfer of the celebration of the Sunday of the Dead to June are obeyed, IPN reports.
The General Police Inspectorate warns the population not to go to cemeteries this weekend and reiterates that it is banned visiting relatives, moving from one locality to another and entering settlements that are in quarantine.
To prevent infection with COVID-19, the Moldovan Metropolitan Church decided to postpone the celebration of the Sunday of the Dead from April 26 and 27 to June 6, 7 and 8.
