The employees of the General Police Inspectorate will have new permits, with last-generation microchips that contain the coded electronic signature of the holder and the electronic key for entering the buildings of the Inspectorate, IPN reports.

In a communiqué, the Inspectorate says the permits have a set of increased protection elements that are incorporated into the plastic when it is made. The digital instruments of the permit allow taking a wide range of actions for optimizing the work of the Inspectorate, such as the signing of documents in digital format, scanning of the permit data by QR code, identification of the holder by the single code and exclusion of forging.

The new permits are issued in stages. About 1,300 employees of the General Police Inspectorate have come into possession of new permits so far. The old permits will no longer be valid.
