A police officer working in Rascani district of Chisinau and his accomplice will stand trial for hiding about 2 kg of hashish that were seized within a criminal case.
The policeman is accused of abuse of power with serious consequences and of keeping, transporting and transmitting narcotic substances in very large amounts, IPN has learned from the Prosecutor General’s Office.
While investigating a case of trafficking in drugs in Soroca district this April, the police officer, in complicity with another person, indicated a lower amount of confiscated drugs. The policeman appropriated about 2 kg of drugs and intended to sell them clandestinely.
The case was sent to the Buiucani Court for examination.
