The police received 646 notifications from the legal representatives of electoral contenders who competed in the runoff. These refer to illegal transportation of voters to polling stations, campaigning and use of public goods, IPN quoted General Police Inspectorate deputy head Marin Maxian as stating in a press briefing after the polling stations closed.
He noted that during the day the employees of the General Police Inspectorate dealt with over 300 different cases of violations. There were reported 122 cases of organized transportation of voters to polling stations.
The police continue to ensure the security of the members of electoral bureaus, until the vote count is over. Later, the Inspectorate’s employees will ensure the escorting of the electoral documents to the district electoral councils.
