The municipal services continue to deal with the consequences of the heavy snowfalls of April 20 and 21. In all the districts of Chisinau, the employees of the municipal services were joined in by police officers, carabineer and soldiers of the National Army and over 200 professionals in tree clipping and felling, IPN reports.
According to the Chisinau City Hall, the Green Areas Association rented additional units of transport from business entities. Specialized teams of the Forestry Agency “Moldsilva” will be involved in works in the course of the day.
The General Public Amenities Division coordinates the works on the streets Mitropolit Dosoftei, Lev Tolstoi and 31 august 1989, while the municipal road maintenance company “Exdrupo” on central and minor streets and also started to stop up streets.
The Rascani district head’s office intervened on the streets Tudor Vladimirescu, Florilor, Miron Costin, Nicolae Dimo, Kiev, Moscova, and Studentilor.
The Centru district head’s office covers the streets Vlaicu Parcalab, Mitropolit Varlaam, Columna, Vasile Alecsandri, Hancesti, V. Dokuchaev, Academiei, Drumul Viilor, Nucarilor, Cheltuiala, Universitatii, Constantin Negruzzi, Dimitrie Cantemir, Nicolae Testemiteanu, Constantin Varnav, Malina Mica, and Tudor Strisca.
The Botanica district head’s office coordinates the works on the streets Dacia, Trandafirilor, Teilor, Hristo Botev, Muncesti, Decebal, Cuza Voda and in yards of apartment buildings, while the Ciocana district head’s office in yards of blocks.
Employees of SA “Apa-Canal Chisinau” and SA “Termoelectrica”, of subdivisions of the Chisinau City Hall and other enterprises will also become involved in the cleanup works in the course of the day.
