The driver who purportedly hit by car a woman aged 23 near Răzeni village of Ialoveni district on February 2 and left the place was identified. This is a 40-year-old woman from Cimişlia town, IPN reports.
According to the police, the woman was placed under arrest for 72 hours and is to be questioned for establishing all the circumstances of the accident.
The woman from Răzeni was found dead near a local road in the evening of February 2. The police were notified by a passerby. It was preliminarily established that the woman was the victim of a hit-and-run accident.
