Police identify author of false bomb alarm at “Mihai Grecu” High School

A twelfth grader of the Chisinau High School “Mihai Grecu” is the author of the false bomb alarm at the given institution. The teen was identified two days after the incident, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Adrian Jovmir, spokesman for the General Police Commissariat, the boy told the police that he wanted to play a trick. He is investigated on the outside and faces a fine of 4,000 to 10,000 lei, community service, or up to two years’ imprisonment. On February 22, the students, teacher and other employees of the high school were escorted out of the building after a person informed that a mine had been planted there. In several hours, the police announced that the alarm was false as there were found no explosive devices. There have been four false bomb alarms this year so far. The authors of two of them were identified.
