The people are urged to be watchful on Sunday, both in traffic and during the rally that will take place in the central square of Chisinau. Having IDs on oneself is not mandatory, but is recommendable, IPN reports.
The head of the General Police Inspectorate Viorel Cernăuțeanu said that in the context of the public event programmed for this Sunday, the parents are recommended to supervise the children, to take care of personal belongings, not to take prohibited objects with them and also large bags so as not to cause inconvenience to others participants, and to be careful when moving, both the drivers and the pedestrians. “The police every time showed that they can ensure peace and the proper conduct of events when it was the case. We will do this at this Sunday’s event too,” stated Viorel Cernăuțeanu.
He noted that he will play two roles at the rally – to ensure the event takes place in a proper way, alongside the team, and to be near his family that will come to the Great National Assembly Square.
The European Moldova Assembly announced by President Maia Sandu is to deliver to the international community the Moldovans’ sincere wish to be part of the European community. The event is staged ahead of the European Political Community Summit that Moldova will host on June 1.
