Three men from Comrat and Ceadir-Lunga, aged between 25 and 42, had organized a slot machine salon at home. Natalia Golovco, press officer of the General Police Inspectorate, told IPN that the 'salon' had been open for half year before the police discovered it.

The men made 6000 lei a day with the machines. Their business was busted when the police searched the home of one of the suspects, where the slot salon was set. The officers found 10 working slot machines in the house in Ceadir-Lunga.

The owner failed to provided documents of origin for the machines or papers that would allow him to run such a business. The machines have been seized until the case is settled.
