The police seized about 300 kg of frozen fish with the expired shelf life that was to be sold at markets in Chisinau. The fish was brought from the Transnistrian regime and didn’t have documents of origin, IPN reports.
According to a communiqué from the General Police Inspectorate, the products were kept in insanitary conditions in a storehouse on Valea Bicului St in Chisinau. The confiscated fish will be used to make forage flour.
The enterprise’s administration faces a fine of 3,000 lei.
