Police catch three fugitives from remand center

Three men who escaped from the remand center of the Drochia police commissariat last night have been caught this afternoon. Contacted by Info-Prim Neo, the head of the Ministry of the Interior’s press office Olga Baciu said the men were waiting for their trial, being accused of robbery, murder and acts of violence. She also said that the men were helped to escape by an employee of the police commissariat who is now investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office. The three men face three to six years in jail for escape. The term will be added to their sentences.
