A resident of Chisinau aged 25 was caught selling alcoholic beverages without documents of origin and quality certificates, IPN reports, quoting the General Police Inspectorate.
The police found over 200 bottles of alcoholic drinks to the value of about 22,000 lei hidden in boxes ready for sale. According to preliminary reports, the beverages were illegally brought from the Transnistrian region.
The merchandise was confiscated and taken to a special storeroom for being subject to specialized examinations. The young man was fined 3,000 lei and could be yet prosecuted for illegal entrepreneurial activity.
