Police ask for help in identifying dead jaywalker

The Chisinau police need the public's help to identify a male pedestrian who was deadly stricken by a Mercedes-Vito van as he was trying to jaywalk across Dacia Boulevard near Metro-2 shopping mall around midnight, Info-Prim Neo reports. The man was thought to be 25-30 years of age, 170cm tall, with dark hair. He was wearing a black leather jacket, black and white sweater, blue denim pants, black leather belt, and leather shoes of the same color. A spider was tattooed on the exterior side of his left arm. Persons with information on the identity of the victim are asked to call on 54-20-63, 27-17-31, 902 or phone the closest police station.
