Police arrested Chisinau city hall’s car transporting gifts for boarding school: press service of local administration

The employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have arrested the Chisinau City Hall’s car, which was transporting gifts for the pupils of the boarding school from Straseni. The gifts were to be offered to children by Chisinau mayor Dorin Chirtoaca, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from a communique by the City Hall’s PR Direction. The police has summoned the driver to drive to the Police Office of Buicani sector. The boarding school is the institution where the Christmas Tree, bought by the Chisinau City Hall and sequestered by the police last week, was carried to, reads the communique. The tree was bought from an inhabitant of Cojusna village. While it was being transported to Chisinau, the car was retained by the police. After being held up in the Straseni forestry for several days, the tree was erected by the police on the territory of the school at the end of last week.
