Police arrest man suspected of child sexual abuse

A civil protection specialist of a Chisinau-based medical institution is suspected of seducing minors. The 40-year-old man was arrested by officers of the Buiucani police commissariat and employees of the special police brigade “Fulger” on August 13, General Police Commissariat spokesman Adrian Jovmir told Info-Prim Neo. According to Jovmir, the mother of one of the victims – a boy aged 13 - on August 11 lodged a complaint with the police. It was later established that the man seduced three minors, luring them into his apartment with money and candies. The man is liable to up to five years' imprisonment.
