The police and the military will patrol the streets in the municipality of Chisinau and in a number of districts in order to monitor the observance of the measures imposed by the authorities and to inform the citizens about the risks of infection with COVID-19, IPN reports.
The Ministry of Home Affairs said that mixed groups accompanied by military vehicles will make sure that the people obey the quarantine regime and remain isolated at home during the state of emergency.
Mixed teams will patrol in villages of the districts of Cahul, Hâncești, Sângerei and Bălți and all over the municipality of Chisinau. During the next few days, all these activities will continue and the people are recommended to inform themselves about the taken measures and to obey the rules that come into force today, March 25.
There were set up mixed teams of police officers and service members who will patrol the public places, including parks and recreation areas, so as to maintain public order and to ensure the measures imposed during a state of emergency are respected.
As of March 25, the citizens in municipalities, towns and district centers will not have access to parks, playgrounds and other areas where large groups of people can form.
