Poland donates first-aid equipment for situations of risk

The rescuers in Moldova received a batch of equipment needed in situations of risk, such as first-aid kits, folding beds, stretchers, protective mask, tents and other things needed in rescue operations. The donation to the value of over €128,000 was made as part of a Moldovan-Polish project, IPN reports.

The official ceremony to mark the completion of the project was held at the National Training Center of the General Inspectorate for Emergencies in Chisinau. In the event, the first-aid equipment from the Maltese Medical Corps’ Foundation in Poland was handed over.

In the framework of the project, more than 120 rescuers and firefighters of Moldova took part in a training seminar centering on the provision of qualified first aid, exchanging also experience. The theoretical and practical lessons were taught by Polish experts.
