Poland supports the Government of Moldova in its efforts to achieve the objectives of restoring the people’s confidence and of increasing the quality of life in Moldova, Poland’s Ambassador in Chisinau Artur Michalski said in a meeting with Prime Minister Pavel Filip. The official handed over a letter of congratulation on the occasion of the appointment of Pavel Filip as Premier from the Prime Minister of Poland Beata Szydlo, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, the officials discussed the joint bilateral agenda of the two states and the implementation of concrete measures and new projects in economy, agreeing to maintain an open dialogue, based on solid cooperation.
Pavel Filip said the political-diplomatic dialogue between the two states represents an important element for the Republic of Moldova. “Poland has always been a reliable partner, the Republic of Moldova enjoying full support in achieving the European integration and economic development objectives,” he stated.
In this connection, the Premier noted that the procedures for distributing and monitoring the loan provided by Poland for developing the agri-industrial sector of Moldova are under way. He approved of the fact that Moldova represents a priority in the Development Assistance Program of Poland.
