Poland and Lithuania continue supporting democracy in Moldova

Presidents of Poland and Lithuania have stressed during a meeting “the necessity of continuing to support the democracy in Moldova, Ukraine and states in the South Caucasus”, the press service of the Lithuanian President office says. On January 17, President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus paid a working visit to Poland and met his Polish counterpart Lech Kaczyński. During the meeting, the two heads of state have discussed issues related to the external policy with the neighbour states in the Eastern Europe.
