Eight individuals have been documented for violating the border zone regulations by engaging in poaching. The incident occurred approximately 5,000 meters from the border with Ukraine, in the “Troițcoe” responsibility sector, IPN reports.
Upon spotting the intervention team, the poachers attempted to dispose of evidence by discarding cartridges. However, the service dog detected the ammunition during a terrain search.
During the investigation, six hunting rifles were confiscated. No hunted prey was discovered.
In accordance with legal procedures, the case has been handed over to the State Environmental Service for further investigation and the application of appropriate measures.
