PM requests dismissing employees automatically when institutions are reorganized

Prime Minister Vlad Filat instructed Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim to work out legislative amendments so that in the future the functionaries of reorganized institutions are discharged from posts automatically, with no Government Decisions being needed to accept their resignations, Info-Prim Neo reports. The request was made following the resignation of Alexei Secrieru from the post of vice director of the Center for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime that was transformed into the National Anticorruption Center (NAC). Under the legislation, the director of the NAC proposes candidates for the post of vice directors of the Center, while the decisions to appoint them are taken by Parliament. The Liberal-Democratic MPs put forward a bill that provides for the selection of the NAC vice directors and director by public contest. The bill is being examined by the legislative body.
