Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilița will pay an official visit to the British capitalduring November 15 and 16 on the occasion of the Moldovan Capital Market Day, to be hosted by the London Stock Exchange. Gavrilița will officiate at the famous bell-ringing opening ceremony on Monday morning at 8:00 (local time), IPN reports.
According to a press release from the Moldovan Government, the prime minister will meet with Julia Hogget, executive director of the London Stock Exchange and with representatives of the business community. She will present the Government’s commitments in the field of business development, as well as opportunities for international business in Moldova.
During the visit, she will have meetings with J.P. Morgan, global leader in financial services, and with Citibank vice president Levente Griffler. Gavrilița’s agenda also includes discussions with UK National Security Adviser Stephen Lovegrove; with Wendy Morton, parliamentary undersecretary of state for the European Neighborhood and the US; with Jose Leandro, EU director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD); and with Howard Cooper, Managing Director at Kroll.
On Monday evening, the prime minister will attend a Career Fair designed for Moldovans settled in the UK to help them explore potential employment opportunities in Moldova. Starting at 6:30PM, representatives of the Government and of some large Moldovan companies will present professional opportunities available in Moldova. Later that evening, Natalia Gavrilița will meet with a group of citizens from the diaspora.
