Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici summoned Minister of the Interior Oleg Balan and the head of the Security and Intelligence Service Mihai Balan to present a report on the expulsion of Romanian citizen George Simion, IPN reports.
According to the Government’s press service, Oleg Balan informed the Premier about the reasons for the expulsion and the way in which the status of undesirable person is set.
The Prime Minister instructing checking if the decision was taken based on a thorough analysis, if all the circumstances were taken into account and if the rights and freedoms of George Simion were respected.
Chiril Gaburici warned Oleg Balan to present without delay the required information as it holds increased social interest and can have repercussions of a diplomatic character. He asked that such decisions should be coordinated beforehand in the future.
