PM attends World Economic Forum in Davos

Prime Minister Dorin Recean is taking part in the World Economic Forum in Davos during January 16-18. He will have a number of bilateral meetings with heads of state and government at which he will promote Moldova’s economic agenda, IPN reports.

The Premier’s program in Davos includes meetings with his Dutch counterpart Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of Croatia Andrej Plenković, Prime Minister of Bulgaria Nikolai Denkov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto, and Prime Minister of Liechtenstein Daniel Risch. Dorin Recean will also discuss with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda, Polish President Poland Andrzej Duda and His Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco.

“The Forum’s platform will provide the opportunity to discuss the implementation of joint initiatives with the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Odile Renaud-Basso, but also with businessmen and representatives of prestigious international companies. The Prime Minister will also deliver speeches within thematic sessions organized on the sidelines of the Forum,” says a press release issued by the Government’s press service.

The World Economic Forum in Davos is taking place from 15 to 19 January. The delegation of the Republic of Moldova also includes Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba and State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy Carolina Novac.
