PL’s candidate for mayor sets out priorities in health and social protection areas

Dorin Chirtoaca, the Liberal Party’s candidate for the mayoralty of Chisinau, Monday presented his priorities for the next four years in the healthcare and social protection sector, Info-Prim Neo reports. In a meeting with medical unit heads, Dorin Chirtoaca spoke about the results achieved while heading the City Hall during the last four years. He said that if he is elected mayor for a new tenure, the compensations for heat and public transport will be maintained, while the programs to outfit the medical institutions with equipment will be continued. “For the first time in the last 20 years, the Chisinau City Hall does not have debts. The mud from the wastewater treatment station was removed, the lake in Valea Morilor reconstructed and the 102 new trolleybuses purchased in very difficult conditions, when the municipal budget was in deficit,” said Dorin Chirtoaca. He also said that his opponent Igor Dodon told many lies about the City Hall and will be investigated for the Prosecutor General’s Office for this. Dorin Chirtoaca and Igor Dodon will fight for the post of mayor in the second round of the mayoral elections on June 19.
