The Liberal Reformist Party (PLR) has announced that 300 settlements of Moldova were visited within the campaign “I’m European” that was launched by the party. The residents were informed about the country’s European course, IPN reports.
“This campaign was necessary for informing the people about the benefits of the liberalized visa regime and the signing of the Association Agreement with the EU, for promoting the European integration and for stopping the wave of misinformation coming from opposition parties,” the head of the PLR Ion Hadarca said in a news conference.
The liberal reformists said that the Moldovan citizens received differently the message conveyed within this information campaign, but most of them expressed interest. “I formed part of the team that worked in southern Moldova and saw that the people wanted to be informed. We surely met Euro-skeptics too, but their number decreased after the first stage of the campaign,” said coordinator of the PLR’s Youth Organization Maxim Gutu.
The Liberal Reformist Party will synthesize the requests made by the people and will launch the second stage of the information campaign based on them.
