The Liberal-Democratic MPs included in a draft decision to give a vote of no confidence to First Deputy Speaker Vlad Plahotniuc in the agenda of the February 15 sitting of Parliament, with the help of the votes of the Communist MPs. They did so even if the vote will not have a legal effect, Info-Prim Neo reports. At the start of the sitting, the leader of the Liberal-Democratic faction Valeriu Strelet announced that they registered a decision to this effect. When asked by Head of Parliament Marian Lupu, he could not say what the legal effect of this decision will be. His faction colleague Tudor Deliu said the MPs have the right to give a vote of no confidence to certain functionaries, but admitted that such a decision will not have legal effect and will represent only a political position. The PLDM has registered the draft decision this morning, even if the agenda includes another bill proposed by them, which provides for the exclusion of the post of First Deputy Speaker. Earlier, the leaders of the PDM described this bill as an attack on their party, which shows that a new coalition was formed in Parliament by the PLDM and PCRM.
