The Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) announced that it will throw its support to Andrei Nastase, who is the common candidate for mayor general of Chisinau municipality of the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPPDA) and the Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS), IPN reports, with reference to a press release of the party.
According to the PLDM, the party’s Political Bureau took such a decision being convinced of the necessity of combining the efforts of the parties of the right in response to the more evident attempts made by the Democratic Party to take control of the state institutions and to usurp power in the Republic of Moldova.
The PLDM reiterated its call to all the democratic and pro-European parties to join forces so as to riposte collectively and in an organized way to the attempts by the Socialists and Democrats to usurp the power in the capital city.
