The Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM) won't talk with the Communists Party (PCRM) till the repeated elections of Moldova's president scheduled on June 3, Info-Prim Neo reports. PLDM leader Vlad Filat made this statement at a news conference on May 28, after the Communist MPs postponed the election day in order to have time to talk with the opposition. “Taking into today's situation, the PLDM won't start talks, sterile dialogues with the PCRM. They won't be able to change the Communists' essence,” Vlad Filat said. “They remain the ones having rigged the elections, the ones who provoked the devastation of the Parliament and Presidency on April 7, the ones, who, after April 7, grossly violated the citizens' rights and freedoms, by illegal arrests and ill-treatment,” the PLDM president has specified. “We recommend the PCRM and personally Vladimir Voronin to prove political courage, to put up with the situation and to accept that only the early, fair and free elections could solve the deep crisis Moldova is in, including the political, economic and moral crisis,” Vlad Filat said. The PLDM faction has not decided yet whether they will attend the parliament's session on June 3, but is resolute not to attend the voting procedures and to unleash early elections. The repeated elections of the president of the country, scheduled for May 28, were postponed for June 3, as proposed by the PCRM. PCRM leader Vladimir Voronin has told media the session was postponed to hold additional consultations with the leaders of those three opposition parties.
