One of the most frequent breeches committed by electoral competitors and media consist in not showing the mark 'Electoral Advertising' or the mention 'Paid form the election fund' on web pages and in printed media. The most serious deviations are committed by the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), the Liberal Party (PL) and the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN), reads a report by a Coalition called Civic Control 2009 Elections”, compiled for the period February 24 to March 3. The report was presented Thursday, Info-Prim Neo reports. The observers remark contradictions in the financial reports the parties present to the Central Election Commission (CEC) and the real situation in publishing electoral ads in printed and electronic media. “In the financial reports of the PLDM and of the European Action Movement, there are no data about paying for electoral advertising. But, while analyzing the presence of these political parties within the total volume of electoral advertising show that they hold a fair amount in this respect,” Alexandru Barbov, the executive manager of the coalition, said. According to Barbov, his NGO holds data that an AMN candidate would allegedly have intimidated an electioneerer representing another party. He says there are recordings on his web page www.electorala.md showing attendees to a rally organized by the PLDM, who say they got money to participate in the meeting. “The coalition gets lots of letters describing how MPs use administrative resources, as they use their state cars to go to rallies in territories,” Barbov said. He says the coalition will state its position after the Parliament's chancellery presents an official note in this regard. Despite all the registered breeches, the coalition concludes the race is running in a civilized manner so far. The coalition joins 15 NGOs pursuing to observe the April 5 race.
