Between July 1 and October 1, Liberal-Democratic mayors will present yearly activity reports. In each locality headed by Liberal-Democrats, civilian meetings will be organized with the motto “Achievements and perspectives in exercising the mandate”, reports Info-Prim Neo, quoting a press release from the Party. The release reads that local public authorities will assure maximum transparency in the decision-making process, will report to people about the level of implementation of electoral promises, will list the problems they face and will search for solutions together. Besides activity reports, the civic meetings will discuss infrastructure projects developed in localities, the process of their implementation and the communities’ participation in the management public money. The meetings will be attended by representatives of PLDM’s central executive, as well as MPs responsible for districts who will be able to directly evaluate the work of local officials. Since the local elections in 2011, the Liberal-Democratic Party has 332 mayors.
