The Public Amenities Division of Chisinau started to implement the annual municipal program to build playgrounds in all the districts of the capital city. 100 playgrounds are to be set up by this yearend.
Contacted by IPN, the head of the Division’s Territorial Development Section Vasile Efros said the list of addresses was compiled based on applications submitted by dwellers. The number of playgrounds that will be set up in each of the five districts of Chisinau is equal. The first playground was put up on Botanica Veche St. All the 100 playgrounds are to be built by mid-December.
The complex has two slides, a swing, a carousel and figurines. There are installed seats and one can also sit on the bench-like fence set up around the playground.
The building of the 100 playgrounds will cost the municipality 12 million lei.
