It is intended for investments in modern technology for harvesting, processing, keeping, sorting and packing agrifood products and in innovations and modern technology for meeting the EU food safety and quality standards. A loan can amount to at most €2 million.

These will represent up to US$8,000 or at most 60% of the total value of the project for pre-commercial initiatives to develop innovations. The grants will be provided through the pre-application and full application methods.
