Plaque commemorating Moldovans killed in battle for liberating Plevna to be installed in Bulgaria

The Moldovan Government will install at the Memorial Complex in Plevna, Bulgaria, a memorial plaque mentioning the Moldovan volunteers killed in the battle of liberating the city of Plevna, during the Russian-Turkish war in 1877.
The memorial plaque will be executed in Moldova and will be donated to the city of Plevna. The Embassy of Moldova in Bulgaria will contribute with necessary assistance in transporting and installing the plaque.
The Government’s expenditures for the plaque’s installment will amount to 87.4 thousand lei.
