For the 20th consecutive time, the Holy Fire will be brought to the Republic of Moldova from Jerusalem. The Holy Light will be fetched by a Tel Aviv – Chisinau charter flight, IPN reports, quoting the Metropolitan Church of Chisinau and All Moldova.
The plane will land at the Chisinau International Airport at 6:30pm tomorrow. The Holy Fore will be taken by His Holiness Vladimir, the Metropolitan Bishop of Chisinau and All Moldova, IPN reports.
In the evening of April 23, the Holy Fire will be brought to the Metropolitan Cathedral “God’s Birth” in Chisinau at about 7:30pm by His Holiness Vladimir and will be then given to priests and parishioners who will spread it all over the country.
The Holy Fire from Jerusalem will also be brought to the Metropolitan Church of Bessarabia. His Holiness Petru, the Metropolitan Bishop of Bessarabia, Archpriest of Chisinau and Exarch of Land, will go after it to the Iasi International Airport where it will be fetched by a plane from Jerusalem on April 23. The bishops, archpriests and church employees are invited to the Head Office of the Metropolitan Church of Bessarabia situated at 161, 31 August 1989 St, starting at 7pm, to welcome His Holiness Petru and to receive Holy Fire so that this is taken to all the churches by 12 midnight and is later transmitted to the parishioners.
