The Milano-Chisinau flight, on which an explosive device was allegedly planted, landed safely on a reserve site of the Chisinau International Airport. The border police and a bomb squad are thoroughly examining the plane and the passengers.
Press officer of the Border Police Daniela Manzatu has told IPN that the plane landed in Chisinau at 6:05pm. The passengers are being checked on the landing platform so as not to expose other persons to risks.
Intervention teams were mobilized after an individual phoned a travel agency and informed that a bomb was planted on the Milano-Chisinau flight. A special group consisting of investigation and prosecution officers of the Border Police is taking measures to identify the caller.
