An aircraft flying on the Chisinau-Abu Dhabi route made an emergency landing at the international airport in the Bulgarian city Burgas following suspicions about engine malfunction, IPN reports.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, there were 18 Moldovans among the passengers aboard.
Officials of the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bulgaria said the 131 passengers onboard and six crew members were accommodated at the hotel until the plane is examined and a new flight is arranged to the final destination in the United Arab Emirates.
