The Government will approve a national plan on the placement of drugstores in order to avoid an exaggerated rise in their number in towns at a time when there are no pharmacies in villages, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Health Andrei Usatyi Tuesday told the press that there are 107 Moldovan settlements without drugstores. “A national plan on the placement of drugstores will be endorsed the coming days. This plan will be fully respected so as to ensure fair and uniform access to medicines,” said the minister. After the plan is approved, the economic entities will be unable to set up drugstores where they want as such stores will appear only where it is necessary. In Moldova there are 958 pharmacies.
