The Liberal Party (PL) decided to withdraw the political support provided to deputy mayor of Chisinau municipality Nistor Grozavu, deputy minister of transport and road infrastructure Sergiu Bucataru and deputy minister of education Elena Cernei, IPN reports.
In a press release, the PL says the decision was taken by the party’s Political Bureau on May 31. The decision took effect when it was adopted and was communicated to the aforementioned persons.
Other officials nominated by the PL tendered their resignation following the withdrawal of the Liberals from government in connection with the investigation of the Liberal mayor Dorin Chirtoaca.
