The Liberal Party (PL) calls upon the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Party to say publicly who they will form a coalition with after the parliamentary elections. In a news conference, the party’s administration said the people must know if their former colleagues intend to form a coalition with the Communist Party (PCRM), IPN reports.
The Liberal leader Mihai Ghimpu said ten days remained until the elections and the people must decide which party they will vote for. “Things must be clarified before the November 30 legislative elections,” he stated.
First deputy chairman of the Liberal Party Dorin Chirtoaca said the PL expects a public answer “yes” or “no” and any hesitation will mean that their former colleagues may form a coalition with the Communists. He underlined that the PL excludes any collation with the PCRM or parties that plead for joining the Customs Union.
