Piping systems cleaned in only 10% of Chisinau cooperative houses

The housing stock of Chisinau is ready for the heating season, deputy mayor Vlad Cotet announced Monday. Some of the municipal companies already obtained permits allowing supplying heat to them. The situation of the cooperative and department houses and the apartment buildings managed by the Privatized Dwelling Owners Associations is worse, Info-Prim Neo reports. Mihai Cernei, director of the Chisinau heat supplier SA Termocom, said the piping systems of the municipal houses have been 92% cleaned, in cooperative houses – about 10%, in department houses – 24%, in the buildings run by the Privatized Dwelling Owners Associations – 48%. Cernei said the level of payments for heat is now 92.7%. This year, the heat supplier provided services to the value of 917.888 million lei. SA Termocom does not have debts to Chisinau-Gaz, paid in advance for the services furnished by the thermoelectric plant CET-2 and owes 28 million lei more to CET-1, Mihai Cernei added.
