Almost 300 buildings remained without hot water and 160 buildings were disconnected from the heating system following an accident on a pipe located on Mitropolit Dosoftei St in Chisinau. In a communique, SA “Termoelectrica” says the repair works are to be finished in several hours, IPN reports.
According to the public utility, a drop in the electrical force at about 11.30am caused the pumping stations to stop. As a result, a hydraulic shock occurred, leading to the damaging of the pipe situated on Mitropolit Dosoftei St.
SA “Termoelectrica” said they are working to fix the technical problem.
