The Ciocana Court was designated as the pilot court of law for testing in production environment (with real data) the functionality of the informational sub-system “Judicial eCase” for a period of six months, by the decision of the Superior Council of Magistracy, at the suggestion of Minister of Justice Vladimir Cebotari, IPN reports, quoting a press release of the Ministry of Justice.
At the same time, the Ministry of Justice, in cooperation with the Agency for Courts of Law Administration, guarantees qualified training and provision of support needed in the cooperation between the courts of law that will be involved in this process.
It should be noted that the following priorities were earlier included in the Government’s plan of action for 2016 – 2018: ensuring of extended functionality of the Integrated Case Management Program, including by making recording of hearings mandatory; coordination of the agenda of hearings by participants; formation and administration of the online case by ensuring the parties’ access to this; presentation of evidence and distribution of materials; introduction of electronic citing of parties, holding of hearings through videoconferencing, etc.
