The picnics and barbecues in parks, forests or other public places during the public health emergency are banned. Those who will not comply will be fined or will be held criminally accountable. Only walks in groups of at most three persons, except for the family members, are allowed in parks, IPN reports.
According to the head of the National Public Health Agency Nicolae Furtună, the persons can walk in parks, but without having picnics or barbecues. Barbecues are allowed in the yard of the house, with the involvement of family members, not yet with other persons as crowdedness involves risks of infection with COVID-19.
Under the decision taken by the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health, groups larger than three persons in such public places as forests, parks and alleys are not allowed until June 30. The maintaining of the social distance of 1 meter is mandatory. The persons older than 63 are not allowed to leave home, if only in emergencies. The presence of persons on playgrounds, sports grounds and recreational areas is banned.
Public assemblies with fewer than 50 persons are allowed, but by observing the public health measures. An epidemiological monitoring list is compiled in such a case. The areas situated near public institutions, education institutions, hospitals and other places with an increased risk of infection cannot be used as venues. According to adviser to the minister of home affairs Alina Zbancă, this provision applies only to large events, such as protests, not yet to picnics, barbecues and other activities.
