Piano keys instead of crosswalks

Seven crosswalks in Chisinau will be painted in the form of piano keys on the occasion of Europe Day and two centuries of the birth of the great Polish composer and virtuoso pianist Frederic Chopin Efim Cheptanaru, the head of Exdrupo company, has told Info-Prim Neo that the idea was put forward by the Chisinau administration in the context of Europe Day and the Chopin Year. For their part, the local authorities were inspired by the idea of the Polish artists Helena Czernek and Klara Jankiewicz. Five such 'pianos' were already painted – two on Maria Cibotari St and three on Stefan cel Mare Blvd., near Patria Movie Theater and the City Hall.
